« THe PETEBOX - Gold and Red…» (The Live Sessions)

Here it is, Leap Of Faith - the fifth track off my second album THePETEBOX - Use The Fire // 'The track is made up entirely of sounds from THePETEBOX's voice (and an electric guitar!) The drums, bass and synth lines have all been created with beatbox and vocal sounds from Pete’s voice, which he has sampled into electronic instruments and played through those instruments to make the track. The sonic concept of THePETEBOX Use The Fire album is; Beatbox performed with the dynamic of the physical instrument. The takes of the recordings make up this video.' Lyrics: The sun is on the rise But it’s outter space And the stars have all aligned But are out of place Every stone that was loosened by the storm We’ll lay it down by the fire We’ll throw it in the fire and we’ll lose it Cos our mind’s in the rhythm of the light And we’re getting close Sense and time I gotta use some I can find them at the new sun Pensive eyes I got a good mind Don’t tell any lies I wouldn’t waste my time You know that every time that you use someone Angels die so never do And come running home Oh, you live to fight that pain Every fucking sore that’s been caused you in your name And even though I’m older And I’m running out of faith I can see in Gold and Red Your colours won’t fade I see your face Your eyes shake my bones Just remember to feed your fires with love Cos what you meant to be if you can’t be free? You gotta learn to fly and love Sense and time I gotta use some I can find them at the new sun Pensive eyes I got a good mind Don’t tell any lies I wouldn’t waste my time You know that every time that you use someone Angels die so never do And come running home Oh, you live to fight that pain Every fucking sore that’s been caused you in your name And even though I’m older And I’m running out of faith I can see in Gold and Red Your colours won’t fade
